The kick-off for the 2015 Marathon of Respect and Equality (MORE) will take place on Thursday, April 30th at 7:00 pm at the North Nova Presentation Centre. Music and poetry will be the featured entertainment at this annual event to celebrate the staging of this year’s MORE.

The kick-off, which is open to the general public, will offer free refreshments as well as remarks by this year’s MORE Honorary Co-chairs, Henderson Paris and Arlene MacDonald.

This year’s MORE theme, “We’re Not Afraid”, will be the focus of this casual get together to support MORE and its goals of respect for diversity and support of all people, regardless of their circumstances.

More 2015, which six years ago took up the cause championed by Henderson Paris in his 20-year Run Against Racism, will take place in communities throughout Pictou County on Thursday, May 7th.
