Students from CCRSB will be attending TechShop, presented by Skills Canada - Nova Scotia (SCNS) on Wednesday, November 19, at the NSCC Pictou Campus in Stellarton.

TechShop is a one-day event that offers high school students the opportunity to explore skilled trade and technology career options by participating in hands-on workshops and mentor discussion.

"We present information on skilled trade and technology careers, career training, and potential wage earnings in a fun and interactive way," said Robin Lorway, Acting Executive Director of SCNS.

TechShop is one in a series of SCNS Youth Projects taking place from October to May at locations across the province. This event would not be made possible without the generous support of the Nova Scotia Community College, and the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education.

Skills Canada - Nova Scotia is a not-for-profit organization that provides opportunities for Nova Scotian youth to explore skilled trades and technologies, discover their passions, and strive for excellence.
