Application to confirm the number of electoral districts and boundaries of the electoral districts: August 22, 2016 

 


                      NOVA SCOTIA UTILITY AND REVIEW BOARD

                              NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


 CHIGNECTO-CENTRAL REGIONAL SCHOOL BOARD has made application to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review
 Board (“NSUARB”) under the Education Act to confirm the number and boundaries of the electoral
 districts. The hearing has been scheduled as follows:

     HEARING:               Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

     PLACE:                       Board Room
                                          Chignecto-Central Regional School Board Office
                                          60 Lome Street
                                          Truro, Nova Scotia

 ALL PERSONS are entitled to attend the hearing.

 NOW THEREFORE TAKE NOTICE that any persons wishing to comment on the Application may provide
 written comments to the NSUARB no later than Wednesday, August 17, 2016 by forwarding a letter to
 the Clerk of the NSUARB at PO Box 1692, Unit “M”, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 3S3, or by email at
 board@novascotia.ca or by Fax: (902) 424-3919.

 AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the NSUARB may conduct the hearing by telephone conference call if
 circumstances warrant.

 A copy of the Application is available for inspection at the Chignecto-Central Regional School
 Board Office, 60 Lome Street, Truro, Nova Scotia, during regular business hours and at the offices
 of the NSUARB, 3rd Floor, 1601 Lower Water Street, Halifax Nova Scotia or on the NSUARB’s website
