School staff will be provided work assignments for the day

Students at Redcliff Middle School, parents and guardians are advised that classes for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th, have been canceled. School staff members are being contacted regarding details of their assignments.

Redcliff Middle School was closed on Tuesday afternoon after a crack in the ceiling of the main lobby was discovered. A structural engineer inspected the ceiling this afternoon. Though no apparent structural issues have been discovered at this time, it has been recommended that classes be canceled as a precautionary measure until snow on the roof above the lobby can be cleared.

CCRSB began work to clear the snow build-up this afternoon; work will continue tomorrow.

Parents and guardians with questions may contact the Cobequid Family of Schools Office at 902-896-5737.
