Chignecto-Central Regional School Board welcomes Anne Beaver, representative for New Glasgow, to the elected Board
The Chignecto-Central Regional School Board (CCRSB) is pleased to welcome Anne Beaver to the elected Board. Ms. Beaver replaces Jamie Stevens as the representative for the Town of New Glasgow. She officially began her term at the Regular Public Board Meeting on December 10, 2014.
"On behalf of the elected members and staff of CCRSB I would like to officially welcome Anne Beaver to the Board,” said Trudy Thompson, Board Chair. “Anne’s experience and involvement as a School Advisory Council member and volunteer in our schools gives her great insight. I know she will make meaningful contributions to the Board.”
Board Member Beaver has had a volunteer connection with the schools in the Stellarton area for 18 years. She was president of the Band Auxiliary in Stellarton, a School Advisory Council (SAC) member for Northumberland Regional High School and chair of the SAC at Stellarton Middle High School.
Ms. Beaver is a small business owner and mother of three.
The Chignecto-Central Regional School Board is comprised of 17 board members and 2,700 staff all striving to develop independent, lifelong learners in a student-centered environment, with high expectations for all.
