The Chignecto-Central Regional Heritage Fair is the longest-running heritage fair in Nova Scotia. Heritage fair projects inspire students to celebrate Canadian history and explore connections between the past and present.
The Fair is open to all students in grades 4 to 9 throughout our school board with exhibitors chosen to represent their individual schools following school-based fairs. In addition to having their efforts judged in various prize categories during the Heritage Fair, the students attend workshops on heritage topics.
Each school holds their heritage fair at a time that works best for their school schedule. If you're interested in entering your school-based heritage fair, talk to your school office. To learn more about the CCRSB Heritage Fair contact Ken Henderson, the Heritage Fair Coordinator at 902-895-1352.
